Headlining this event is Steve Trevino, featuring Momo Rodriguez and Courtney Cronin. Steve Trevino: One of today’s premier Latino stand-up comedians, Steve is currently a writer and sketch performer in Comedy Central’s hit series Mind of Mencia. Born and raised in Portland, TX, Steve Trevino started comedy at a young age. Trevino was the star in his second grade talent show -- making people laugh. He did so well that he came back every year after that to tell jokes to the student body. Trevino moved onto Dallas, TX after graduating from high school and became the doorman at the local Improv Comedy Club. He moved up and became house MC after proving his skills on open-mic nights at the club. Trevino then met comedian Carlos Mencia who then invited Steve to open up for the Three Amigos Comedy Tour; one of the biggest comedy tours at the time. Mencia and Trevino's friendship has kept Steve on the road ever since, opening shows for Carlos across the country. The friendship has even grown into a collaboration on a new project: a pilot for a new show on Comedy Central. Steve Trevino's uncanny ability to incorporate real-life scenarios and stories into his entertaining physical humor and strong stage presence, creating a live stage dynamic that keeps crowds laughing and asking for more makes it no surprise that Steve has become on of the country's fastest up-and-coming comedians. Steve currently resides in Los Angeles, CA, his new home reflecting even more on his rock 'n roll personality and lifestyle Momo Rodriguez: From back yard parties to sound stages, Momo, brings personal animated stories to the stand-up stage. Hard work and clever punch-lines have made Momo one of Hollywoods fastest rising stars. In a short period of time, Momo has become a well known comedian in Hollywoods best comedy clubs. Momo Rodriguez started out as a sketch comedy writer for "the Homies Hip Hop Show" on LATV (KJLA). He created on-camera magic for LATV, bringing unscripted and comedically random interviews live from red carpets and movie premieres. His timing, charisma and innovative thinking took a local TV Station into exclusive Hollywood events. Momo Rodriguez is a natural entertainer. He is the lovable loser, the guy next door, and the funny chubby dude from last night. Courtney Cronin: Described as delightfully neurotic, Courtney Cronin is here to dispel the common misconception that women comics can't run with the boys. On the road and in Los Angeles where she now lives Courtney performs with many of the countries top headliners. She is a regular at THE IMPROV and was featured on EYE ON LA as, "one of LA's 'funniest women'". She is also a regular performer on the longest running all female comedy show, Pretty Funny Women. Most notably she was writer for ESPN's MOHRSPORTS, with Jay Mohr and also wrote for Wayne Brady, and was a Comedy Producer for THE WAYNE BRADY SHOW for which she was nominated for Emmy award in 2004. She is also featured, on the all female stand up comedy CDs “Party Girls” and “Bad Girls” and has material published in three stand-up comedy books. Courtney has written for dozens of other comedians and several Television shows including “THE CHELSEA HANDLER SHOW”, “GIRLS BEHAVING BADLY, REVENGE OF THE BOYS” and DL Hughley’s hidden camera show ‘SOCIALLY OFFENSIVE BEHAVIOR” on BET. Courtney made her TV debut on Byron Allen's DESTINATION STARDOM from Honolulu, Hawaii. Then went on to be featured in various, small roles, on MOHR SPORTS and CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM. The two met while serving as presidents for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), and they established SUMMA Communications as a promotions company in 1994. Zambrano has the connections in Hollywood to book the comedians, and Monreal does the legwork needed to put the shows together. SUMMA Communications has focused its efforts on raising funds for local Latino non-profit organizations. “I wanted to give back to the organizations that helped me throughout my college career at Arizona State”, Monreal said.
